A thought partner for organizations that care about people and place

I work with executive directors, CEOs, board chairs, and senior leaders at nonprofits, arts and cultural organizations, community foundations, and place-based initiatives. You bring the mission. I help connect the right people, strengthen leadership, build partnerships, and turn a good idea into an actionable plan.

Strategic partnerships and resource development

Grow the support your mission needs, and the relationships that keep it going.

Who it's for

Nonprofits, community foundations, cultural organizations, place-based initiatives, and community-minded businesses.

What it solves

Your mission is strong, but you need a clearer resource strategy, stronger partnerships, more consistent donor or sponsor engagement, or a better way to connect your needs with the people and institutions that can help.

What you get
  • A resource development or partnership strategy
  • A case for support
  • Sponsor and donor engagement plans
  • Stakeholder mapping
  • Cultivation materials
  • A practical calendar and tracking approach
  • Implementation support sized to what your team can carry forward
How an engagement runs

We start with a conversation. I learn your mission, current relationships, goals, and constraints. Then we agree on a focused scope, deliverables, and a timeline. Work can be project-based, remote, on site, or an advisory retainer. I stay close enough to make sure the plan gets used.

Board development, organizational strategy, and leadership support

Clear roles, clear priorities, and a board that puts its skills and relationships to work.

Who it's for

Executive directors, CEOs, board chairs, and leadership teams working through growth, transition, unclear priorities, or board disengagement.

What it solves

A capable organization is carrying important work, but leadership roles, board expectations, priorities, or next steps aren't clear enough to move with confidence.

What you get
  • Board and leadership retreats
  • Board engagement tools
  • Role and relationship mapping
  • Strategic plans and work plans
  • Leadership coaching and advisory
  • Supervisor practice sessions
  • Executive consultation and organizational resources
How an engagement runs

I begin by hearing from the people closest to the work. Together we find the real question behind the loudest symptom. We agree on a practical process, facilitate the conversations that need to happen, and leave the organization with clear decisions, ownership, and tools. Engagements can be a focused project or a six-month advisory relationship.

Community engagement, facilitation, and cultural programming

Shape projects with the community, so people see their input in what gets built.

Who it's for

Municipalities, nonprofits, foundations, cultural organizations, and cross-sector partnerships that need to hear from residents or make room for dialogue.

What it solves

A project needs public trust, local knowledge, shared ownership, or a way to bring people with different experiences into a useful conversation and a common next step.

What you get
  • Community listening and engagement plans
  • Facilitated meetings and retreats
  • Cross-sector convenings
  • Event and cultural program design
  • Storytelling and arts-based learning
  • Public-facing materials
  • A record of themes, decisions, and next steps
How an engagement runs

We clarify who needs to be part of the conversation, what we need to learn, and how participants will see their input used. I help design the invitation and the format, facilitate with care, and support the move from conversation to action. Work can be on site, remote, event-based, or part of a longer initiative.

Questions

Before we talk

Where do you work?

I'm based in Coatesville and work throughout Chester County and Greater Philadelphia, and with organizations beyond the region. Engagements can be on site, remote, or a mix of both.

How long does an engagement last?

It depends on the need. Some engagements are a focused project with a clear end point. Others are a six-month advisory relationship or an ongoing retainer.

How much does it cost?

Scope and fee depend on the need, the timeline, and the level of support. We set both together after a first conversation.

Do you work with businesses?

Yes. I work with community-minded businesses on partnerships, and I mentor small and minority-owned businesses on strategy, leadership, and their next stage of growth.

Every engagement is shaped to fit
